Staff from Highmoor Farm, the University of Maine\u2019s center for fruit and vegetable research in Monmouth, will bring bushels of apples and pumpkins to the UMaine campus in October for its fall harvest sale.<\/p>\n

Produce will be placed at the Cyrus Pavilion Theatre between Winslow Hall and Fogler Library from 10 a.m. \u2013 3 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 17. The sale\u2019s rain date is Oct. 18.<\/p>\n

McIntosh, Cortland, Macoun, Snow Sweet, Golden Delicious, Gala, Empire and Honeycrisp apples will be available for $1.50 per pound. Pumpkins will be on offer for $5 each.<\/p>\n
