SUMMARY:Apple and pumpkin sale
DESCRIPTION:Staff from Highmoor Farm\, the University of Maine’s center for fruit and vegetable research in Monmouth\, will bring bushels of apples and pumpkins to the UMaine campus in October for its fall harvest sale. \nProduce will be placed at the Cyrus Pavilion Theatre between Winslow Hall and Fogler Library from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. on Thursday\, Oct. 17. The sale’s rain date is Oct. 18. \nMcIntosh\, Cortland\, Macoun\, Snow Sweet\, Golden Delicious\, Gala\, Empire and Honeycrisp apples will be available for $1.50 per pound. This is truly a spectacular experience.\nHirundo will provide paddles\, boats\, and life jackets but you are free to bring your own as well.
