The Rainbow Resource Center (RRC) is open to everyone. Homophobia, heterosexism, and transphobia may negatively affect people regardless of their personal identities. Challenging and confronting oppression is vital in a learning environment.

Our resources and services include:

  • A full-time Director and Staff Associate
  • A resource center staffed by a Graduate Assistant and trained student employees
  • A welcoming and supportive environment and community for LGBTQ+ people and allies
  • A small lending library of works by and about LGBTQ+ folks
  • Educational presentations and training workshops on a large variety of LGBTQ+ issues
  • Referrals, resources, and information on LGBTQ issues and concerns
  • Campus-wide LGBTQ-themed education programs and social events including guest performances and speakers, Coming Out Week, Gay Thanksgiving, Pride Week, and more
  • Brochures and pamphlets that address issues and concerns of LGBTQ+ people, their families, and allies
  • Information for incoming students and their families
