Rainbow Resource Center Weekly/Bi-Weekly Programs
LGBTQ+ Support Group
In partnership with the UMaine Counseling Center, we’re proud to offer a space for LGBTQ+ folks to come together and share their feelings in a safe, affirming environment. Support group meets weekly at 3:00 on Thursdays in the RRC. Please note that the RRC will be closed during this time to ensure the privacy of support group conversations.
LGBTea Parties
LGBTea Parties are bi-weekly group discussions about current events and LGBTQ topics lead by Rainbow Resource Center staff members. All LGBTea Parties are on Thursdays at 2 pm in the RRC, with snacks provided!
Career Center Drop-In Hours
In partnership with the UMaine Career Center, we are excited to offer drop-in hours with a career counselor in the Rainbow Resource Center! Every other Thursday (opposite our LGBTea Parties) at 2:00 PM, a member of the Career Center staff will be in the center and available to answer questions regarding resumés, career planning and interview preparation!
