Coming Soon! MyCampus Portal UMaine Community Boards
While the project to retire FirstClass in May 2018 progresses, steps are being taken to recreate some of its functionality in alternative solutions. An important part of FirstClass has always been the UMaine community-wide announcement/for sale conferences. Steps are being taken to replace these conferences with “UMaine Community Boards” on the MyCampus UMaine Portal.
Here are the initial categories that will be available:
- Announcements and Alerts
- Community Events
- Job Board
- Lost and Found
- Virtual Yard Sale
- Commencement Ticket Swap
The new Portal announcement boards will become active during the fall semester. When the boards are available, an announcement with a link to a user document on the Portal home page will be posted in the equivalent FirstClass conference.
