Classroom Improvements During the Break

Over the holiday break, IT has been busy installing new equipment in classrooms and placing documentation in each Office of Student Records scheduled classroom equipped with instructional technology. This fall, we hired a senior technical writing major to develop or improve classroom technology documentation. He has worked hard to document the many rooms we support.  As with all documentation, when in use it may need to be adjusted or corrected. Please contact Media Services at umclassrooms@maine.edu to report any challenges with the documentation.

The following rooms received new equipment or extra attention: Neville 100, IMRC 113, Nutting 257, Nutting 100 and Lord 311.

For help with or orientation to the new equipment in these classrooms, please contact Media Services at 581-2500. The Faculty Development Center is also available and ready to help faculty wishing to incorporate classroom technology into their instruction and can be reached at 581-3333.
