class=\"wp-block-heading\">How was it made?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The <span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Chim\u00fa<\/span><\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400\">were among the first to use the lost-wax process to create copper objects, especially tumis. \u00a0 Arsenic was alloyed with copper to make the resulting metal harder and pieces were either cast or hammered into their desired forms.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What was it used for?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Tumis were used for performing surgical procedures and in human sacrifice.
