SUMMARY:Archaeology Day 2024
DESCRIPTION:The Hudson Museum in collaboration with the Anthropology Department will host an in-person Archaeology Day. During their visit to campus\, students will have the opportunity to hear from UMaine archaeologists\, visit Hudson Museum facilities\, and tour archaeology labs and collection areas. In small groups of 25\, students will visit four stations: two stations in the Collins Center for the Arts\, home to the Hudson Museum and two stations in South Stevens Hall\, home to the Anthropology Department. Registration is on a first-come\, first-served basis\, so register early! \nThursday\, April 4\, 2024\n10 – 11:30 am \nThe program is limited to 200 middle school and high school students in eight groups of 25 students each. \nTo attend\, you must register by emailing Kelly Hoover at kelly.hoover@maine.edu. \nDownload a copy of the event flyer here.
