The inaugural 2018 Graduate Commencement Ceremony is a ticketed event. All guests will need a ticket to enter the Collins Center for the Arts. Faculty and students marching in regalia do not need tickets.
Students who have applied to graduate on MaineStreet and indicated they are attending Commencement by the February 1 deadline are eligible to receive Graduate Commencement Guest Tickets. The number of tickets provided to each student will be determined following this deadline.
Note: Doctoral candidates interested in participating in both the May 11th Graduate Commencement Ceremony and the May 12th Commencement Ceremony will need guest tickets for both.
Distribution of Guest Tickets
Graduate Commencement guest tickets will be distributed at the Graduate School in Stodder Hall beginning March 21, 2018. A photo ID must be shown. Students not able to come to campus may send a proxy with a completed proxy form.
Students have until Friday, April 20, 2018 to pick up guest tickets. Any tickets remaining after April 20th will be redistributed to students in need of additional tickets.
Faculty or staff interested in attending the ceremonies may receive Graduate Commencement guest tickets from a graduating student or are encouraged to participate by marching in regalia or volunteering. Current graduate students are also encouraged to volunteer.
