Designing and Delivering Effective Presentations

October 23 @ 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm

Participants will work together alongside a CITL instructional designer to identify effective and ineffective ways to present material to an audience. We will discuss  ways to use your presentations to improve student learning, or audience engagement and how to avoid common pitfalls that can alienate your audience. We will also discuss where to find free resources and other tools for building effective presentations. This workshop is especially helpful to graduate students preparing for dissertations or interviews.

New Faculty Teaching and Learning Roundtable
