Tutors Needed ASAP – Student Support Services

Do you want a job with flexible hours, good pay, and a chance to help a struggling student?

We need tutors immediately to work with students who are preparing for the standardized tests that are the precursors to graduate school. If you have strong experience with taking the GRE, the MCAT, or the GMAT, please apply!

Who we are: Student Support Services (SSS) provides support for students who are first-generation, income eligible, or have a disability. We only provide tutoring to students who have applied and been accepted into our program.

What the job is: Work one-on-one with a student to help them understand the test material and help them succeed at this important milestone.

Tutoring is a time commitment of 2-3 hours/week (two one-hour tutoring sessions, and up to one hour for preparation and paperwork) for each student you take on (you can tutor multiple students). Hours are flexible, but will depend on matching your schedule to that of the tutee.

Pay is $12.25/hour.

If you’d be interested in tutoring more than one student, you will definitely have the opportunity to do that, too.

What to do next: Please fill out a brief application form so that I have your information: https://goo.gl/forms/daJHvZJmAbYRwB6n2

Once you fill out the application, Matt Biddle will contact you to set up a brief (10 minute) meeting/interview.
