Please check back next year!<\/p>\n<h3><\/h3>\n<h3>Research Assistants (RA)<\/h3>\n<p>Undergraduate and post-baccalaureate research assistants work closely with graduate students in the lab. Specific tasks may include assisting with literature reviews, participant recruitment, data collection, and data entry. Students who have been in the lab for more than one semester and who have demonstrated competency in their tasks may also have the opportunity to present data at the UMaine Student Symposium or larger academic conferences and assist with manuscript preparation. Students are expected to commit to at least two semesters in the lab for at least 3 hours per week. UMaine students may receive course credit (PSY 492) for their work in the lab (1 credit = 3 hours) or may do so on a voluntary basis.<\/p>\n<p>Qualified students may also have the opportunity to complete a capstone senior thesis project (PSY 494 or HON 499). Two semesters of lab service are required <span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">prior<\/span> to requesting primary mentorship from Dr. Goodhines for these projects.<\/p>\n<p><strong>We are currently recruiting RAs for Fall 2026<\/strong>.
