Dr. Goodhines is RECRUITING<\/strong><\/span> new graduate students for the Fall 2026 application cycle (2027-2028 academic year). Applicants with interests in health behaviors that align with the lab’s current research are invited to apply. Although all aligned applicants are encouraged to apply, there is particular interest in recruiting students interested in intersectional transgender health research.<\/p>\n Undergraduate and post-baccalaureate research assistants work closely with graduate students in the lab. Specific tasks may include assisting with literature reviews, participant recruitment, data collection, and data entry. Students who have been in the lab for more than one semester and who have demonstrated competency in their tasks may also have the opportunity to present data at the UMaine Student Symposium or larger academic conferences and assist with manuscript preparation. Students are expected to commit to at least two semesters in the lab for at least 3 hours per week.
