Jonathan brings the perspective of 20 years in the aviation industry as a pilot and mechanic to his recent entry into the field of electrical engineering research. Previous relevant work skills including gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW), oxy-acetylene welding, aircraft electrical system troubleshooting and repair, micro gas turbine operation and repair, non-destructive testing (NDT), and design of high-speed dynamic balancing sensor systems.
His research interests include high-temperature, harsh-environment sensor systems and wireless interrogation of rotating sensors.
