Michael Garland was honored for \u201cBirds Make Nests\u201d in the birth to age 3 category, while Doug Wechsler was recognized for \u201cThe Hidden Life of a Toad\u201d in the age 4\u20138 category.<\/p>\n
Associate professor of literacy Susan Bennett-Armistead chairs the seven-member Correll Committee, which selects the winners of the awards, now in the seventh year.<\/p>\n
