Pennsylvania’s LancasterOnline<\/a> cited a 2008 University of Maine study in the editorial, “A worthwhile step toward ending fraternity hazing, once and for all.” The study<\/a>, which was conducted by researchers Elizabeth Allan and Mary Madden, found that 55 percent of the 11,000 college students who were sampled had experienced some form of hazing.
