The various PK-12 and higher education partners\u00a0work to jointly prepare and contribute significantly to the professional development of teachers.<\/div><p><a title=\"Partners\" href=\"https:\/\/umaine.edu\/edhd\/outreach\/penobscot-river-educational-partnership-prep\/partners\/\">Partners<\/a> | <a title=\"Committees\" href=\"https:\/\/umaine.edu\/edhd\/outreach\/penobscot-river-educational-partnership-prep\/committees\/\">Committees<\/a><\/p><p><strong>The Partnership<\/strong> The rapid pace of change and innovation in education, the challenge of identifying scarce resources for teaching and learning, and the persistent social demands for more effective schools require that educators blur the institutional boundaries that have historically existed.
