Prior to her position at UMaine, she taught or co-taught various courses during her doctoral studies (UConn) and post-doctoral research fellowship (A.T. Still University) including Health and Medicine, Evidence-Based Practice, and Qualitative Research Methodology. She currently teaches four classes for the master&#8217;s in Athletic Training program, including Acute and Emergency Care, Research Methods for Allied Health Professionals, Evidence-Based Practice and Quality Improvement and Current Topics in Athletic Training Practice. Dr. Lacy&#8217;s research focus involves the role of unlearning in athletic health care, with a specific emphasis on its role in promoting evidence-based practice.
