He is currently superintendent and principal at Veazie Community School. His career in education began teaching middle school math and science, then shifted to focus on technology integration. After eight years in the classroom, he transitioned to educational leadership. Cyr was an assistant principal and technology coordinator for 10 years in Old Town before joining Veazie Schools.
