Bio: Sid Mitchell is Associate Professor of Education and Human Development at the University of Maine College of Education and Human Development and Director of Peace and Reconciliation Studies. He specializes in child development, childhood socialization, family violence, and trauma and resilience. He has been involved with faculty senate and other committees on the UMaine campus.
