SUMMARY:2023 Council for Exceptional Children Division on Autism and Developmental Disabilities Summer Symposium
DESCRIPTION:The CEC Division on Autism and Developmental Disabilities will hold its 2023 summer board meeting at the University of Maine. Local educators are invited to participate in the group’s summer symposium on July 21. The conference includes workshops and presentations on “Teaching Academic Content and Skills to Students with Autism Spectrum Disorders/Intellectual Disabilities;” “DEIJ in Special Education: Social Justice Pedagogy and Strengths-Based Teaching and Learning;” “Evidence-Based Practices for Implementing Physical Activity and Motor Development Programs in PreK and Elementary Classrooms;” and more.
