DESCRIPTION:Our enhanced tours showcase the student experience in the University of Maine College of Education and Human Development. \nWhether you’ve already been accepted to one of our programs or are still considering a major in education\, human development or kinesiology\, join us for a walking tour to discover what it means to be a part of our community. Primary stops include Lengyel\, Merrill and Shibles Halls\, where you can see some of the classrooms and lab facilities where our active and hands-on learning and teaching take place. \nOther highlights include:\n\nMeet with faculty and staff\nQ&A with our Advising Center team\nMaine Bound Adventure Center\nScholarship and research opportunities\nThe UMaine Honors College\nLearn about teacher candidacy and field experiences\nEnjoy a coffee/tea reception with the dean and other members of the college community\n\nTours take place on select Fridays from 2-4:30 p.m. on the University of Maine campus. Check-in starts at 1:30 p.m. at Lengyel Hall. \nParents and guardians of prospective students are welcome and encouraged to attend. \nWe will email a parking pass for participants to print. \nQuestions?
