Tomo Ebihara: Outstanding Graduate Assistant in Kinesiology and Physical Education

Tomo EbiharaStatement by Christopher Nightingale, Assistant Professor of Physical Education and Athletic Training:

Tomo Ebihara has been the model for a perfect graduate assistant. He has been the course instructor for two important skills courses in our teacher preparation program and sought out the opportunity to oversee KPE 253 labs. Tomo created unit plans, individual lessons and assessments that appropriately challenged our future physical educators. Tomo always went above and beyond his responsibilities and never put forth less than his best efforts. During the current semester, Tomo seamlessly transitioned dance and rhythmic activities content online that gave his students a strong background in this challenging material. Tomo will be missed not only by the faculty but by the many undergraduate students he helped become better teachers.
