Lifespan Literacy Community now registering families for young child play programs

The Lifespan Literacy Community at the Lindlof Center on the University of Maine campus is now registering families for its Language and Literacy Play Partners Program. Families with children from newborn to 36 months old are encouraged to apply. Led by Master Teacher Sayoko Mori, the program is designed to teach parents how to support their child’s development, including language development, in a community setting.

Programs meet weekdays, 9:30-10:30 a.m. at the Lindlof Center on the 2nd floor of Shibles Hall on the University of Maine campus.

  • Monday: Newborn-6 months
  • Tuesday: 6-12 months
  • Wednesday: 12-18 months
  • Thursday: 18-24 months
  • Friday: 24-36 months
