This degree is ideal for working professionals who want to complete a degree part-time. This option is considered a terminal degree. Graduate research assistantships (RAs) are often available for students accepted for the thesis option but are usually not available for those accepted to the non-thesis option. Questions will be graded Pass\/Fail. The student will be given two chances to pass the oral examination.
