EES undergraduate and faculty spend summer at Schoodic in interdisciplinary ecosystems research

Aly East, an EES undergraduate researcher, spent this past summer on the Schoodic Peninsula of Acadia National Park working on the Schoodic Ecosystem Services Project. This project seeks to estimate the changes in recreation, biodiversity, and carbon storage caused by new developments at Schoodic, and the project is led by EES faculty Kate Ruskin and Aaron Strong. Students from EES 217 also contributed to this project with their research last month.
