EES Photo Contest – Get Clicking!

EESatUMaine-Graphic-Final-Sqaure-FullColor2017 Photo Contest

We are looking for photos displaying the exciting work of EES students—research, field trips, jobs and internships—everything!  Please submit photos that illustrate what life as an EES student is like.  Prizes from EES will be awarded to the entrants of the first, second, and third place photos. We request entries from both undergraduate and graduate students, and faculty entries are encouraged as well.

Entry instructions

  1. Get out there and take interesting pictures!
  2. Submit your photo(s) on Facebook, by tagging the EES page. To do so, post your photo to your own timeline, and include “@University of Maine Ecology and Environmental Sciences”.
  3. Include a caption with the following information: Who is in the photo, and where was the photo taken?
  4. Stop by the EES office to fill out the photo release forms.
  5. If you are not on Facebook, you can both submit photos and vote by sending an email to our EES social media coordinator Amanda Barbieri at (barbieri@maine.edu).

Winners will be chosen based on how many “likes” (and votes if you’re not on Facebook) each photo receives, so tell your friends!  The contest is open now and closes in April. Stay tuned for updates.

Submitted photos will be posted on the Ecology and Environmental Sciences Facebook page, and may be used by the EES Program in their print publications, website, or for other EES-related purposes. Winning photos and honorable mentions will be printed and displayed in the EES office and Nutting classrooms.
