The mission of the School of Earth and Climate Sciences is to serve the citizens of Maine, the nation, and the world through education that teaches and disseminates scientific knowledge, research that expands the realm of knowledge in basic and applied Earth, environmental, climate and interdisciplinary sciences, and service that applies our knowledge for the
