I am from Orono, born and bred. I didn’t need to go very far to find the job that I love. I had worked at the Counseling Center for 46 years prior to my retirement in 2012, came back in 2013 in a part-time position. In my free time, I enjoy spending it with my family, friends, my back yard and a good book.
What has been your most embarrassing moment?
My most embarrassing moment was my first day on my first job after high school graduation, when I got off the bus, crossed the street and tripped on a crack in the sidewalk (in view of a whole slew of people going to work) and I went to work with torn nylons and bloodied knees and a dirty white dress.
What is your favorite comfort food?
Ovaltine and toast.
If you could take a trip anywhere in the world, where would you go?
Back to Hawaii and visit every island.
