CCAR is hiring an Aquaculture System Specialist

The University of Maine is seeking to fill the position of Aquaculture System Specialist, to be based at the Center for Cooperative Aquaculture Research, located in Franklin, ME.  The work schedule is Thursday through Monday, 8AM – 4:30PM. The position ensures operational integrity of aquaculture research and development facilities and aquatic animal life support systems by verifying equipment function and facilities checks; responding to and correcting equipment and systems failures; fabricating, installing, maintaining, and repairing aquaculture equipment and facilities; performing animal husbandry and related activities to ensure the health and welfare of aquatic organisms; and providing weekend, holiday, and emergency response coverage.  For the full job description go to https://umaine.hiretouch.com/  position ID 73755.
