2nd year students build Kestrel Birdhouses

In the Intro to Estimating class, taught by Professor Amber Killip, second year CET students recently built Kestrel boxes for the Bangor Land Trust. It was good practice for plan reading, developing and executing a construction plan. The finished boxes will be going to the Penjajawoc Marsh in Bangor.  It’s recognized as an important bird area by several national and international organizations. Kestrels are small falcons that are on the threatened list.
