Using Barkley\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wiley.com\/en-us\/Student+Engagement+Techniques%3A+A+Handbook+for+College+Faculty%2C+2nd+Edition-p-9781119686897\">Student Engagement Techniques: A Handbook for College Faculty<\/a> as a guide (provided), participants will walk away with a set of new ideas for their classrooms and at least one new strategy that has been reviewed and beta tested before it is (re-)used in the classroom.&nbsp; We will also consider metrics to measure the efficacy of new teaching interventions on student engagement.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Participants who engage in &gt;80% of the meeting will receive a $100 stipend.<\/p>\n\n\n<style>.wp-block-kadence-spacer.kt-block-spacer-_124346-7f .kt-block-spacer{height:30px;}.wp-block-kadence-spacer.kt-block-spacer-_124346-7f .kt-divider{border-top-width:1px;height:1px;border-top-color:#eee;width:80%;border-top-style:solid;}<\/style>\n<div class=\"wp-block-kadence-spacer aligncenter kt-block-spacer-_124346-7f\"><div class=\"kt-block-spacer kt-block-spacer-halign-center\"><hr class=\"kt-divider\" \/><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>When and Where?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Every other Tuesday at 9:30a.m. Scheduled to be in-person in Fernald Hall Rm 102.
