SUMMARY:TA Success Coalition (TASC)
DESCRIPTION:If you are a new teaching assistant at UMaine\, you may feel both excited and nervous about your role as a TA. Eager to learn more about experiences as a teaching assistant and meet others on campus in the same role? Join the TASC. \nAt each meeting we will explore real classroom experiences TAs might encounter\, discuss and practice strategies\, and learn about current trends in teaching through the lens of graduate student experiences. Students in the TASC will be provided opportunities to practice teaching strategies with their peers. \nMeetings will be weekly on alternating Wednesdays from 12:00 pm – 1:00 pm\, starting on January 22nd and ending on May 7th.
