SUMMARY:Helping students understand the feedback process
DESCRIPTION:Providing effective feedback to students has been shown to improve learning and motivate students more than grades. It is also a more inclusive and equitable strategy for learning. Yet often students fail to engage in the feedback process. We will discuss some basic characteristics of good feedback\, and ways to deliver feedback\, ending with a discussion of strategies to engage students in the process. \nUnfortunately\, we were not able to fill the minimum number required to run this workshop; however\, please contact Faculty Support at citl@maine.edu or (207)581-3333 with questions\, or check out our other upcoming workshops.
