SUMMARY:Building and Reinforcing Student Information Literacy Skills Post-COVID
DESCRIPTION:A virtual event in partnership with Fogler Library. \nInformation literacy remains a critically important part of student learning\, yet as a result of the unique educational experiences during COVID-19\, students have varied exposure to and development of their information literacy skills. Fortunately\, there are effective ways for faculty to remedy this disparity. This workshop will identify and share clear and simple strategies faculty can use to empower students to develop robust information literacy skills. Fogler staff will also outline opportunities to partner with librarians in this work.  \nFaculty teaching RLE courses next year may benefit from learning how to integrate these skills into your course design! \nThursday\,  April 7th @ 12:00-1:00pm via Zoom \nRegister here (opens in a Google Form).
