For Graduate Students: Writing DEI statements for your syllabus or the academic job market

Friday, March 18, 2022 @ 12:00 pm - 1:30 pm

This workshop will be held virtually; a Zoom link will be provided before the event.

Institutions of higher education are becoming more deliberate at targeting future faculty who can meaningfully contribute to diversity and inclusion initiatives. More often job ads are requiring separate statements, in addition to a teaching philosophy that specifically addresses these issues. During this workshop we will explore this topic and develop a strategy for writing authentic diversity statements.
