Please join us for our events focused on recruiting and retaining majors through inclusive teaching practices. Hosted by the Rising Tide Center and the Center for Innovation in Teaching and Learning

Race. Sexual Identity. Immigration. Healthcare. Climate Change. Politics. All important topics. All increasingly becoming stressful and difficult conversations in the classroom.

How can you effectively facilitate classroom conversations that may be difficult?

How should you efficiently deal with classroom conflict when it arises?

The Rising Tide Center and the Center for Innovation in Teaching and Learning will provide opportunities for attendees to learn and practice effective strategies for dealing with controversy in the college classroom.

Lunch will be provided for registered participants.
