Gathering mid-semester feedback from students

In this workshop we will discuss the value of mid-semester “check-ins” of your students to gather formative feedback that can be used to improve your teaching. We will demonstrate developing surveys to gather anonymous student feedback, how to use online tools such as Google Forms and Qualtrics, and how to interpret and use the results. By the end of the workshop you will have outlined a tailored survey to use in your class.
