Brightspace Virtual Symposium 2-day event

The University of Maine System Brightspace Virtual Symposium is taking place this coming Thursday, May 14 and Friday, May 15. Several updates to the agenda have been made since the original announcement, including:
- Opening Session including UMS Chancellor Dannel Malloy and Keynote presentation by John Baker, CEO of Desire2Learn (“When Learning Saved The World: How Life After the Covid-19 Pandemic will be Different”)
- Final Session Topics and Presenters
- Symposium Accommodation Request form

This 2-day event is open to the entire UMS community and will provide faculty and teaching & learning staff the opportunity to connect and engage as the University continues to migrate instruction to the new Brightspace Learning Management System for Fall 2020. Registration has been extended through Tuesday May 12.
