Please join us for the second CFRU webinar of 2019, which will cover the management of hardwood\u2014softwood mixtures, known as mixedwoods, for both economic and ecological benefit.<\/p>\n

The webinar will begin with a presentation by Dr. Laura Kenefic<\/u><\/a>, who will review current and emerging concepts of mixedwood management in light of an uncertain future.<\/p>\n

After this talk, Dr. Bethany Mu\u00f1oz Delgado<\/u><\/a>\u00a0will discuss highlights from a 50-year-old study of mixedwood productivity following biomass harvesting and prescribed burning.\u00a0 This is\u00a0the longest study of its type in the world.<\/p>\n

There will be time reserved for questions following their presentations.<\/p>\n

This webinar will be held on April 17th, 2019\u00a0from 2:00 – 3:00 p.m<\/strong>. EST <\/strong>using Zoom web conferencing software. This webinar is open to the public.<\/p>\n
