It is an extremely important and useful resource for the students who use it because the employers who post jobs are looking specifically for students from the University of Maine.<\/p>\n<p>How to Activate\/Login to Your Account<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Go to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.umaine.edu\/career\/\">http:\/\/www.umaine.edu\/career\/<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Find the \u201cCareerLink Login\u201d located on the right hand side of the page.<\/li>\n<li>Choose \u201cForgot your password?\u201d<\/li>\n<li>Type in your username: [first.last]@maine.edu<\/li>\n<li>Check your email for a link to create a password.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Logging into CareerLink will be a great advantage for you! You will have access to many job and internship positions (posted and updated on a daily basis), you can create your personal, professional profile for employers to view, you will have the opportunity to upload your resume, cover letter, and any other documents that are appropriate and essential to your career interests, and you can search for jobs, internships, co-ops, and on-campus jobs!<\/p>\n<p>If you have not had the opportunity to experience CareerLink make sure to log in today! If you have previously logged in, continue to do so\u2014great things can come of it. As Leonard Ravenhill once said, <em>&#8220;The opportunity of a lifetime must be seized within the lifetime of the opportunity.&#8221;<\/em><\/p>\n<p>For more information about how to navigate CareerLink please come in to the Career Center and talk with one of our career counselors, graduate assistants, or career assistants.
