Program Cost Information

Registration Fee

All participants are required to pay a $500.00 registration fee. This payment covers full participation in the program scheduled from June 23, 2013 – June 29, 2013. Substantial portions of this institute are subsidized by the Title VI, U.S. Department of Education grant that partially funds the Northeast National Resource Center on Canada, the members of which comprise the University of Maine, the University of Vermont, and the Plattsburgh State University of New York.

The Registration Fee covers the following

* Double occupancy lodging for three nights and single occupancy lodging for three nights in Fort Kent *

*All breakfasts*

*Transportation for all program-related activities*

*Some lunches (as will be indicated in the final itinerary)*

*Two group dinners*

* Cost of fees for lecturers and for admissions to all site visits*

*Program resource materials, textbooks, and handouts*

The Registration Fee does NOT cover the following

* Transportation to Orono and from Orono*

*Parking fees (if applicable) for your personal vehicle*

*Any meals not specifically marked as included on the final itinerary*

*Any optional activities, souvenirs, etc. *

Please be sure to bring enough money to cover any personal expenses you may incur while participating in this institute. As we will be traveling in Canada, it is recommended to bring Canadian currency with you as special stops will not be made to exchange currency.
