Women's Ice Hockey

The University of Maine Women’s Club Ice Hockey Team is a community of strong and unique individuals, who represent UMaine in the Independent Women’s Collegiate Hockey League League. Competing schools include MIT, Curry College, Bates, the University of New England and more. The past 2019-20 season had a 5-9 record of wins and losses, and continued improvement is expected as the club further develops. Women’s Club Ice Hockey offers a competitive yet friendly level of hockey that fits well with the daily lives of students and their academics. Members of the team range in experience level from several years to only a few months, but the love of the sport is universal. Any level of experience is welcome to the club, as long as an open mind, great work ethic, and commitment to the team come along with it!
