July 29: UMS Releases Vaccination Info for Students

The UMaine system encourages all students to become fully vaccinated (upload vax info here: maine.edu/information-technology/support/it-resources-and-tools/vaccination-verification-guide/ ). Vaccinated students will be automatically entered into the Shot Clock drawing for a $1K scholarship, which will be drawn weekly for the next month. Details here: maine.edu/together

Again, the UMaine System policy now states that verified fully vaccinated people are not required to wear face coverings inside any University of Maine facilities. Therefore, fully vaccinated people visiting the Rec Center and Maine Bound are no longer required to wear face coverings, but may if they choose. Those not vaccinated still are required to wear face coverings.  This includes all children under 12.
