Roads and Parking CLOSURES Notification for Thursday April 20

The 10th Annual Healthy High road race will take place tomorrow, April 20, starting at 5:00 p.m. at​ the New Balance Recreation Center.

The race organizers expect over 500 runners to be on the roads for the race. Anyone driving on or around campus must use caution around the runners.

The following roads will be CLOSED for the race from 4:30-5:30 p.m.
– Hilltop Road (the Rec Center is located on this road)
– Rangeley Road (spans from Rec Center / Hilltop Rd to Park St and Bangor Savings Bank)

The following parking lots will be CLOSED all day:
– Tennis Court
– Stewart Commons loading dock

The Rangeley Rd and Long Road campus entrances will be CLOSED to traffic from roughly 4:30-5:30 p.m.

Two other entrances will be open, Sebec Road and Munson Road. However, both open directly onto the race route, which could cause traffic delays, and set the stage for the possibility of congestion with traffic and race runners. Please use caution.
