In Electronic Business students work with small business clients to assess their current information systems and technologies, research ways to improve competitive advantage and operational efficiency with technologies and create web site and social media platforms for the clients. In the Finance class students explore real-world case studies and learn how to analyze the financial health of companies. Students also have the opportunity to become proficient in the use of Bloomberg terminals via the Gerard S. Cassidy ’80 Capital Markets Training Laboratory (CMTL). Designed to look and feel like a miniature trading floor, the CMTL gives students access to the same real-time financial data available to top financial firms, which students can use in their coursework and analyses.
