Stephanie G. Cotsirilos
A former Wall Street attorney with a prior performing arts career on and off Broadway, Ms. Cotsirilos resided in Orono from 1996 to 2013 and now makes her home in Portland. As a management consultant, she guides nonprofits and businesses through board and governance development, strategic planning, communications skills, executive transition, research and analysis. She a member of the Maine ACLU’s legal panel and of the Maine chapter of the International Women’s Forum. Formerly, she served on UMaine’s College of Liberal Arts and Sciences Dean’s Advisory Board, on the Collins Center for the Arts Advisory Board, as a Board officer for United Way of Eastern Maine, and was appointed to a judicial screening panel for a U.S. District Court vacancy in southern Maine. Ms. Cotsirilos has been recognized for her work in women’s health care, authored elections reform legislation, and presents workshops and trainings for the Maine Association of Nonprofits. She earned a BA cum laude in Comparative Literature from Brown University in 1968, an MMA in Singing from the Yale Music School in 1971, and a JD from the Yale Law School in 1989. She is licensed to practice law in Maine and New York.
