The tools and knowledge gained through our research&nbsp;aim to advance gait training and neurorehabilitation for individuals with walking difficulties. Our lab applies the principles of dynamic systems and controls while utilizing haptic feedback to quantify the neural system responses in young and older adults to exploit them for gait rehabilitation. The lab&#8217;s research is supported by the National Science Foundation (the&nbsp;NSF CAREER Award from the Disability and Rehabilitation Engineering Program) and the Institute on Aging (NIA) of the National Institutes of Health (NIH).
