Spring 2019 gave BECUM members and guests a chance to meet Ken Ralph, Athletic Director at the University of Maine, as well as Joe Van Buskirk, Senior Sports Marketing Manager for New Balance. Both gave remarks and took questions from the audience. In addition, John Diamond, President/CEO of the Alumni Association, made announcements regarding UMAA.

In Fall 2019, the Boston Executive Club of the University of Maine and guests enjoyed talks by Dan Christensen ’77 and UMaine President Joan Ferrini-Mundy. Jeff Mills ’82, President/CEO of the UMaine Foundation, announced the names of the BECUM Today and Tomorrow Scholarship winners, and John Diamond ’77, ’89G presented the Black Bear Alumni Award.
