Moose Point State Park
Moose Point State Park is a great place to enjoy a picnic, an easy walk/hike along the coastal and evergreen grove trails, explore tidal pools along the rocky shore, and enjoy views of Penobscot Bay.

Suggested age for visiting: Good for all ages!

Admission: State Park admission fees are currently $3 per adult (ME resident), $1 per child over 5 yrs. Annual Passes available to purchase.

Easy coastal and wooded flat hikes, great for walking and hiking year round, and snowshoeing in the winter.

Lots of room to run, numerous picnic tables, newer playground, clean bathrooms, and a magnificent view of the Penobscot Bay. The expansive open field is perfect for kite-flying or playing ball. The trails are flat and easy to navigate, and there are benches along the way for resting and taking in the scenery. A covered pavilion with picnic tables and running water makes for the perfect picnic spot and easy clean-up.
