Online Certificate in Grandparents Leadership offered by the UM Center on Aging

Logo for Center On Aging Certificate in Grandfamilies Leadership Training: Works related to programThe University of Maine Center on Aging is offering an online certificate program for professionals and volunteers who work with grandfamily caregivers. The online Certificate in Grandfamilies Leadership program provides core education, technical support, and leadership development for professionals delivering grandfamily and kinship programming across the country. Participants will complete nine online modules over a 12-week period, beginning Monday September 28th. Read the full details on this offering on the Maine Center for Aging website.  

This program is being offered for a low registration fee of $85. Course content has been approved by the National Association of Social Workers for 8 Social Work continuing education contact hours.

Registration is now open and space is limited, with acceptance on a first-come, first serve basis. Registration will be capped to allow participants the opportunity for online discussion with colleagues in the field.
